Thirsk School GCSE Results...

Students from Thirsk School and Sixth Form College have been celebrating receiving a fabulous set of GSCE results this morning. 60% of students achieved a grade ‘4’ or higher in both English and Maths, with 40% attaining this at the higher pass level of a ‘5’.

This is a year group that had their SATs cancelled due to the pandemic. However, looking at the estimated grades generated from CAT tests in Year 7, they achieved well above what was expected of them.

This is a testament to their hard work, as well as the amazing dedication of parents/carers and teachers in supporting them.

As a school we could not be more proud of them.
